One half of Deep Dish, Ali Shirazinia reaches other audiences with his solo Djing as Dubfire. Iranian born Ali, came to prominence in the 90's with his partner and became to be top flight Djs and producers.
Remixing everyone from Madonna, Dj Rap,Delirium and Justin Timberlake,the duo also run Yoshitoshi Recordings and other labels, including Yo!.
But it's as Dubfire in 2007 that Ali really changed his direction. His release ' I Feel Speed ' featured Dubfire stepping up to the mic and singing for the first time.
After this followed ' Roadkill 'and ' Ribcage ' by which to time, the acclaim was pouring in. An invitation to do Mixmag's cover cd, an Essential Mix on Uk's Radio 1 and praise from Beatportal and his peers, saw Dubfire's solo career rocket.
As 2008 got underway, Dubfire was awarded Best Techno and Best Minimal Artist at the Beatport Awards for his forward thinking style and production.
